A field of six will line up in Saturday’s feature at Belmont Park, with Too Discreet looking like the value at 4-1 on the morning line in the $100,000 Paradise Creek.

The race drew a field of eight three-year-olds, but with two main track only entrants a field of six will head to the gate going seven furlongs on the turf.

Mighty Mo is the 8-5 morning line favorite. The Bill Mott trainee set the early fractions and could not hold off Highland Sky in a runner up finish in the Woodhaven at Aqueduct at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. That Hall of Fame trainer Mott is off to a slow start at the Belmont Park meeting, currently 0 for 24.

Too Discreet may end up the value of the race. The Christophe Clement trainee chased the early pace and weakened to finish fourth in the Woodhaven, which was his first start off an eight-month layoff. He is perfect in two turf sprints, including winning the Schenectady at Saratoga last August.

Conquest See Ya (2-1) figures to take some betting action off an impressive maiden score here at six furlongs in his turf and local debut. The colt has run third on poly at Woodbine in his debut on April 9.

The Paradise Creek goes off as the eighth race on the 10-race card at Belmont Park with a first post of 1:30 ET.

Let’s head out to Belmont Park for Saturday’s featured race of the day:

Belmont Park Race 8 The Paradise Creek Post time 5:13 ET

5 Too Discreet   4-1

1 Conquest See Ya   2-1

8 Mighty Mo   8-5

2 Wicked Wink   10-1

Too Discreet makes his second start off an eight-month layoff here. The colt tracked the early pace and weakened to finish fourth last out going long on the turf in the Woodhaven. He won his first two career starters last summer at the Spa, breaking his maiden and then winning the 5 ½ furlong Schenectady by a neck.

The cut back figures to suit and she should be tight and ready to go second off the shelf. She has a nice pedigree, out of the stakes winner To Marquet ($198,236), who has dropped two other stakes winners, top earner Discreet Marq ($1.26 million).

Conquest See Ya faces winners for the first time after breaking his maiden last out in his second career outing going six furlongs on the turf here. The filly pressed the early pace, opened up a clear lead heading for home and held on to win by ¾ of a length under a well measured ride by Jose Lezcano. The runner up in his last outing was Drop Shot, who returned to break his maiden with a solid 87 Beyer in his next outing.

This guy is out of a stakes placed Valid Appeal mare that has dropped six other winners including three stakes winners on dirt, top earner Unlimited Budget ($758,837).

Mighty Mo cuts back from a route where she set the early fractions in the Woodhaven at the Big A and got caught late, missing by a neck. It was his first start against winners after breaking his maiden going 7 ½ on the turf at Gulfstream Park two back off the layoff in his second career outing.

The colt looks quick enough to handle the cut back to one turn here. The Mott barn is 18% winners moving runners from route to sprint. The son of Uncle Mo is a threat with his best but is going to be a light price.

Wagering:

WIN: Too Discreet to win at 3-1 or better.

EXACTA: 1,5 / 1,5,8
