Saturday’s contest is on the entire card at Turfway Park which includes the Grade 3 $550,000 Spiral Stakes, a key prep race for the Kentucky Derby.
The Graham Motion trained Animal Kingdom used the Spiral as a tune-up to his upset victory in the 2011 Run for the Roses. Motion came back last year and won the Spiral again with Went the Day Well, who was fourth in last year’s Kentucky Derby.
The race is expected to draw a full field of 12 including Uncaptured, Frac Daddy, Capo Bastone and Fear the Kitten.
Supporting races on the outstanding betting card are the Grade 3 $100,000 Bourbonette Oaks for three-year-old fillies and the $75,000 Rushaway.
Contest Prizes: First place in the contest is $100, second place is $50, and fourteen $25 prizes will be awarded!
This contest will be a LIVE contest with payoffs based on a $2 win and place wager on each selection. There are caps on payouts, 30/1 on win and 15/1 on place. Please make sure you get your wagers in a few minutes before post time to avoid being shut out!
