The NBA Playoffs are finally here and every avid sports better knows what that means. The gambling world is thriving now with some of the best online casinos and sports betting sites offering up some tempting and exciting odds on the biggest basketball event of the year. If you’re looking to get into NBA odds for the Playoffs this year, then there are a few teams that you should definitely be looking into.
With the defending champions having been recently eliminated, it really is anyone’s ballgame at this point. Here are a few teams to watch out for when you’re placing your bets for who’s going to win it all.
Brooklyn Nets (7/4 odds)
The Brooklyn Nets are definitely the current favorites to win it all in the NBA Playoffs this year. Spearheaded by the super trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, it can be really hard to bet against the Nets this year. They have scoring threats from practically anywhere on the floor. The only chink in their armor might be their defense and rebounding, but they’re still heads and shoulders above the rest of the league in terms of talent.
Utah Jazz (7/2 odds)
The Utah Jazz finished the season with the best record in the NBA and that’s why they’re the favorites to come out of the west right now. They have a roster that is just as deep and as well-rounded as the Brooklyn Nets. They’ve got great defense because of their anchor Rudy Gobert. Aside from that, they have superstar Donovan Mitchell and newly crowned Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson to power up the offense. This is probably the best iteration of the Jazz team since the Karl Malone-led era.
Milwaukee Bucks (23/4 odds)
With two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo at the helm of a fiery Milwaukee Bucks squad, it can be hard to count them out of a championship run. They’ve only gotten better this year with the additions of NBA veterans Jrue Holiday and PJ Tucker to their squad. The team has got amazing defense with Brooke Lopez clogging up the lanes in the middle as well. NBA All-Star Khris Middleton is also still with the team and has been having one of his best seasons so far.
Phoenix Suns (15/2 odds)
The Phoenix Suns have been the surprise of the season. Built around a solid core of Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, and veteran Chris Paul, the Suns are looking to make a deep playoff run this year. After failing to make the NBA playoffs for 11 straight years, the Suns are back with a vengeance under the tutelage of one of the best coaches in the NBA Monty Williams. While Chris Paul has had to deal with his fair share of injuries so far in the Playoffs, it’s hard to count the Suns out completely.
Philadelphia 76ers (10/1 odds)
One of the other stronger teams in the Eastern Division is the Philadelphia 76ers. Led by a young superstar duo of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, the 76ers looked as poised as ever to emerge from the East onward to the NBA Finals. Joel has been dealing with his injuries during these Playoffs as well and that’s also part of the reason why the Sixers don’t have a higher spot on this list. The Superstar center has been having an MVP-caliber season so far. And it wouldn’t be far fetched to think that the Sixers could make a deep run in the Playoffs if he stays healthy.
Other Teams
Los Angeles Clippers (11/1), Denver Nuggets (14/1), Dallas Mavericks (28/1), Atlanta Hawks (30/1)
