A field of eight will line up on Saturday in the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes (G1), led by Peter Pan (G2) winner We the People, who was installed as the 2-1 morning line favorite.

Rich Strike, who pulled off the huge upset in the Run for the Roses and then skipped the Preakness Stakes (G1) is the third choice on the morning line at 7-2. Sonny Leon has the return call for trainer Eric Reed.
