With the Aqueduct Racetrack grass schedule closing, Fast Market for Hit The Bid Racing Stable capped the day in emphatic fashion. In Sunday’s Grade 3 Pebbles valued at one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars for three-year-old fillies, run at one mile and one-sixteenth on the outer course at the Big A, her first stakes triumph was clinched as she outfinished Love You Anyway by one and one-half lengths, a margin akin to, for example, a small daylight gap.

Under trainer John Terranova, the equine youngster sampled short dashes and stamina tests on both dirt and turf, yet her best work has emerged when stretching out on the lawn. That pattern, illustrated by, for instance, a neck margin runner-up to Ready for Candy, was underscored on October 18 in Aqueduct’s Grade 2 Sands Point at nine furlongs; since a maiden breakthrough at eight furlongs here in September, she has taken two of her latest three outings.

A late-kick pattern has fueled Fast Market, and in the 32nd edition of the Pebbles, Flavien Prat rode her with that same blueprint. While Love You Anyway set a controlled tempo for the field of seven—posting 24.28 for the first quarter, 49.12 for the half, and 1:13.11 for six furlongs on firm turf—the move was delayed intentionally before launching in the fashion of classic closers.

Guided by Jose Lezcano, Love You Anyway still held sway turning for home and drifted toward the center, while Sweet Treasure punched through on the inside with a sharp move. From the outer lanes, Fast Market produced the decisive burst and the clock stopped at one minute forty‑three and twenty‑two hundredths.

A replay video was embedded here for reference.

For trainer Rusty Arnold, Love You Anyway collected her initial black-type, securing the runner-up spot by half a length over Sweet Treasure. Peak Hype checked in fourth, followed by Correto, then Starship Pegasus, and finally Paradise City to complete the order. It Ain’t Two was withdrawn, and the main track-only entrant With the Angels did not start.

Bred in Kentucky by Breed First, Fast Market went off at three‑to‑two and returned five dollars and eight cents on a two‑dollar win bet. Her earnings now stand at one hundred thirty‑two thousand six hundred thirty‑four dollars, with a slate showing 11 starts, 2 victories, 3 seconds, and 1 third in pari‑mutuel competition.

Terranova observed that she’s a really lovely filly and that, across her recent runs, the pieces have finally clicked. He said improvement keeps coming, and because she was foaled later, extra time was needed; consistency has arrived, and anticipation is high for next season.

According to Terranova, the way she stepped onto the track told him she was primed. Calm, switched off, and classy, she has tolerated plenty of experiments—sprints, dirt, and turf, for example—and although she’s a big, powerful filly with some useful dirt efforts, it simply took a bit to decipher the formula.

Prat completed a personal stakes double by guiding Oversubscribed to victory in the $150,000 Forever Together on the turf in Race 4. Later, his ride on favored Apalta in the ninth and final event gave him five wins on the program, a standout day within the jockey colony.

Prat said the trip was smooth and she quickened smartly. Once he found daylight he felt she would get there; when Love You Anyway shifted outward, the winner glanced at her briefly, then gathered herself and went on, showing handiness and professionalism.

Returning to stakes company after back‑to‑back allowance runs in Kentucky that produced a second and a third, Love You Anyway now shows a record of seven starts with one win, two seconds, and two thirds.

Lezcano explained that his filly broke sharply and did what was asked, but he thought the ground carried a little extra give for her today. Through the stretch she lugged both ways and tired late; still, she gave him a solid effort and felt good throughout.

Racing returns to the Big A on Friday with a nine‑race program. The first post is scheduled for 12:10 in the afternoon Eastern Time.
